Cancellation conditions

When cancelling a reservation, the following conditions apply, unless other conditions have been explicitly agreed upon when making the reservation. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

1. Free cancellation
A reservation can be cancelled free of charge more than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

2. Cancellation 14 to 8 days before arrival
In case of cancellation 14 to 8 days before the scheduled arrival date, 25% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

3. Cancellation 7 to 2 days before arrival
In case of cancellation 7 to 2 days before the scheduled arrival date, 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

4. Cancellation on the day before arrival, on the day of arrival and no-show
In case of cancellation on the day before the scheduled arrival date, on the day of arrival or when the guest does not arrive without prior cancellation (no-show), 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

5. Changing a reservation
A request to change a reservation, such as modifying the stay dates, the number of people or the room type, will be treated as a change request and is subject to availability. A change may affect the price and/or the applicable cancellation policies.

6. Deposits
If a deposit is requested when making the reservation, it will be offset against the amount due under the above conditions in the event of cancellation. If the amount already paid is higher than the amount due under the cancellation conditions, the difference will be refunded using the payment method used.

7. Reservations made through booking platforms
For reservations made through Booking.com, Airbnb, or any other booking platform, the cancellation policies of the respective booking platform may apply. The terms and conditions presented to the guest during the reservation process on the respective platform and agreed upon by the guest are governing for that reservation.

8. Special circumstances
If a guest is unable to travel due to special circumstances, B&B Pax Tibi may, at its own discretion, decide to deviate from the cancellation policy. Such a deviation is not an automatic right and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

9. Cancellation by B&B Pax Tibi
If B&B Pax Tibi has to cancel a reservation unexpectedly due to circumstances beyond its control, the guest will be informed as soon as possible. Any amounts already paid for the stay that was not enjoyed will be refunded in such cases, where applicable.
