For managing our reservations, we use MyTourist.

Our website uses the MyTourist Booking Engine for online booking of accommodations. MyTourist supports, among other things, online payments via Mollie and can synchronize reservations and guest data through linked booking channels.

4. Bookings via Booking.com, Airbnb, and other booking platforms

You can also book your stay at Pax Tibi through external booking platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb, and other OTA's (Online Travel Agencies).

MyTourist has a Channel Manager that allows reservations and guest data to be exchanged between linked booking channels and MyTourist. MyTourist supports over 100 connections for this purpose, including Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia.

When you book through an external booking platform, we may receive the data necessary to manage your reservation and provide your stay.

This can relate to, for example:

  • name
  • email address

Future booking channels

We may in the future link other booking platforms or reservation channels to our systems. When this happens, the necessary reservation and guest data can be exchanged with Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi and our reservation system via these links.

5. Online payments via Mollie

For online payments, we use Mollie B.V.
MyTourist supports Mollie as a payment provider for the Booking Engine.
When you pay online, Mollie processes the data necessary to complete the payment.

Depending on the chosen payment method, these may include, among other things:

  • payment details
  • bank account or card details
  • IP address
  • browser and device information

The exact data processed depends on the payment method and the technical connection. Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi does not receive full card details or security codes from your payment card.

Mollie is a controller for various processing activities relating to payment services and processes data for various reasons, including executing payments, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations as a financial institution.

6. Who do we share your personal data with?

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share personal information with parties that are necessary for our business operations and service provision, including:

  • government agencies when we are legally required to do so

We only share data that is necessary for the relevant purpose.

7. Retention periods

We do not store personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which we process it, unless a legal retention obligation prescribes a longer retention period.

In the Netherlands, there is generally a legal retention period of seven years for our financial and tax administration. This does not mean that all personal data of a guest is automatically retained for seven years.

Data that is only necessary for making a reservation or for communication purposes will not be kept for longer than necessary, unless a legal obligation or a justified interest justifies a longer retention period.
