General terms and conditions and booking conditions of Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi

1. General
These general terms and conditions apply to reservations and stays at Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi, Middelburgseweg 11, 2811 PM Reeuwijk.
By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these general terms and conditions, the applicable cancellation policies, and the house rules of Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi. For reservations made through a booking platform such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or another OTA platform, the terms and conditions of the respective platform may also apply.
2. Reservation
A reservation is final once confirmed by Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi. When making a reservation, the guest provides correct and complete information, including name, contact details, number of people, and stay dates. The reservation is valid for the number of people specified at the time of booking. The stay of additional people is only permitted with prior consent.
3. Prices
The prices indicated during the booking process are the prices applicable at that time. Any included or excluded costs will be stated at the time of booking.
4. Payment
The method and timing of payment will be stated at the time of reservation. If a deposit has been agreed upon, it must be paid within the specified period. The remaining amount must be paid no later than the date indicated at the time of reservation. Payment can be made, depending on the reservation method, through the offered payment methods, including online payment.
5. Arrival and departure
The times for check-in and check-out will be communicated at the time of booking or before the stay. The guest must adhere to these times, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
6. Number of guests
The maximum permitted number of guests per room or accommodation must not be exceeded. Accommodation of persons not included in the reservation is only permitted with prior consent.
7. House Rules
During their stay, guests must adhere to the house rules of Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi. These house rules form part of the agreement between the guest and Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi.
8. Damage and loss
The guest is liable for any damage to the accommodation, inventory or other property of Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi caused by the guest, traveling companions or visitors during their stay. Any damage or loss should be reported as soon as possible.
Costs for repair or replacement may be charged to the guest when they are the result of careless, unskilled, or intentional actions.
9. Liability
Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi is not liable for loss, theft or damage to guests' property, unless there is statutory liability on the part of Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi. Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi is also not liable for any inconvenience or damage resulting from circumstances that could not reasonably be attributed to Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi.
10. Force Majeure
If Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi is unable to fulfill the reservation due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, it will inform the guest as soon as possible. Force majeure includes, among other things: fire, serious damage to the accommodation, disruptions, calamities, government measures, and other circumstances that make staying reasonably impossible.
11. Complaints
If a guest has a complaint during their stay or something is not to their satisfaction, this should be reported to Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi as soon as possible. This gives us the opportunity to resolve the complaint during the stay.
12. Privacy
Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi processes personal data necessary for making and executing reservations, communication with guests, payments, administration, and complying with legal obligations. More information on this can be found in the privacy statement of Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi.
13. Termination of stay
In the event of a serious breach of the house rules, serious nuisance, threat, vandalism, or other circumstances where the continuation of the stay cannot reasonably be expected, Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi may terminate the stay, insofar as permitted by law.
14. Governing Law
Dutch law applies to the agreement between Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi and the guest.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Bed & Breakfast Pax Tibi will in that case endeavor to replace the relevant provision with a valid provision that as closely as possible matches the purpose of the original provision.
